Application

VOGEL PLEX M203 is intended for use as a process fluid in the form of 2-10% aqueous emulsions for cutting and abrasive machining of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, aluminum alloys and copper alloys. It is effective in both individual machines and centralized metalworking-fluid supply systems.

Instructions for preparing the working emulsion

Water and concentrate: use utility-grade water with a recommended hardness of 2-4 °dH. High hardness impairs emulsion properties. The water and concentrate should be at 20-30 °C.

Concentration: the optimal concentration of the finished emulsion is 2-10% by mass, depending on the severity of the operation. Example: to prepare 100 l of a 5% emulsion, use 95 l of water and 5 kg of concentrate.

Important: always add the concentrate to the water while stirring continuously. Do not add water to the concentrate. Use a clean container such as a bucket, drum or system tank.

Mixing: for small volumes, mix manually with a rod. For large volumes, use a mechanical agitator, mixer or compressed air. Mix until a homogeneous emulsion is obtained.

Shelf life: 1 year from the date of manufacture.
