VOGELoil Lubricants GmbH is an international company founded in 1997 by the German petrochemical engineer Gerhard Vögel. The headquarters and main production facility are located in Salbüferren, Germany.
Since its foundation, the company has specialized in the development and production of professional-grade lubricants.
From 1976 to 1997, Gerhard Vögel worked with leading petrochemical, engineering and automotive companies.
In 2007, due to the expansion of the product range, additional production sites were opened:
- Ghent, Belgium;
- Ottaviano, Italy.
The new facilities produce heat transfer fluids, antifreezes, car care chemicals and plastic greases.
Since 2022, the company has been operating in the Russian Federation. As part of its development strategy in Eastern Eurasia, VOGELoil Lubricants GmbH signed an agreement to localize the production of lubricants in Russia. Quality control and compliance with European standards remain a priority at all stages.
In 2024, the company opens a new production site in Vietnam.
This step is aimed at entering the fast-growing Asian market and strengthening the brand’s position in the region.
